The attendance is good. Results:— Improvers’ Handicap.—Steel Wire 1. All Fours 2. Wildwood 3. Scratched: Welcome Pearl. Won mv a short length. Time, 3.43. TENNIS TEAM IN AUSTRALIA MET WEATHER INTERFERES WITH PRACTICE. (Received 27. 11.15 a.m.) Sydney, March 27. Owing to the wet weather the New Zealand tennis team hat been unable to get in any practice, but has been shown some sights of Sydney and entertained at theatre parties.
