Leaving his last poem written in blood, Serguey Essenin, who married Isadora Duncan, the classical dancer, committed suicide at Leningrad. His death recalls a scandal in a Paris hotel where Essenin, who was always of a nervous and eccentric temperament, smashed the entire furniture of their suite during periodic fits of rage.—.
