RUSSIAN POET’S SUICIDE.
PARIS SCANDAL RECALLED. (Received 30. 1.30 p.m.) Moscow, Dec. 28. Leaving his last poem written in blood, Serguey Essenin, who married Isadora Duncan, the classical dancer, committed suicide at Leningrad. His death recalls a scandal in a Paris hotel where Essenin, who was always of a nervous and eccentric temperament, smashed the entire furniture of their suite during periodic fits of rage.—.
