On 31st DECEMBER—Extra Trains: For Napier—Hastings dep. 7.0 p.m., 10.15 p.m. For Hastings—Napier dep. 8.15 p.m., 11.0 p.m. Stop at all stations. On Ist JANUARY—Extra Trains: For Napier—Hastings dep. 5.0, 5.34, 6.10, 8.5 p.m. For Hastings—Napier dep. 10.10 a.m., 7.20 p.m., after connecting with train leaving Eskdale 6.25 p.m. Stop at all stations. Usual 7.15 a.m. Waipukurau-Napier train leaves Waipukurau 7.40 a.m. ESKDALE LINE. On Ist JANUAKYj usual 6.40 a.m. Napier-lsskdale and 7 .'35 a.m. EskdaleAapier trains will NOT run. Special wains runs : —Foi; Napier : Eskdale dep. 9.45, 11.10 a.m. For Eskdale: Napier dep. 9.0, 10.30 a.m., alter connecting with train leaving Hastings 9.30 a.m. RACES AT HASTINGS RACECOURSE. Special race tickets to Hastings Racecourse Platform, including aamission to Racecourse and available tor day of issue only, will be obtainable on Ist and 2nd January as under:— From Napier and Awatoto: Carnages 5/3, seated wagons 4/3. From Clive: Carriages 4/9, seated wagons 4/3. From Wliakatu: Carriages 4/-, seated wagons 3/6. From Tomoana: Carriages 3/3, seated wagons 3/-. Race tickets or suburban tickets will not bo available by the ordinary express trams. Only special race tickets will be available by the train leaving Napier 10.10 a.m. on Ist January and 10.25 a.m. 2nd January. Single fare Racecourse to Hastings 6d. Free passes, season, privilege, tourist and commutation tickets (other than press reporters’ tickets and passes held by members of the Legislature) will not be available by the NapierHastings race trains. On Ist JANUARY’ trains for Racecourse leave Napier 10.10, 10.25, 11.20 a.m. Return trains leave Racecourse for Napier 4.55, 5.29 p.m. _ In addition trains leave Hastings 5.23, 6.10, 8.5 p.m. for Napier. Train leaving Racecourse 4.55 p.m. for Napier connects with train leaving Napier for Eskdale 5.35 p.m. On 2nd JANUARY, trains for Racecourse leave Napier 10.25, 11.20 a.m. Return trains leave Racecourse 4.55, 5.29 p.m. In addition train leaves Hastings 5.23 p.m. On Ist and 2nd JANUARY’, special train leaves Dannevirke 8.5 a.m. for Hastings Racecourse. Return train leaves Racecourse for Dannevirke 5.0 p.m. All trains except the express and relief express trains stop Racecourse if required. BOY SCOUTS JAMBOREE. DUNEDIN EXHIBITION. On 9th JANUARY, special train loaves Dunedin 9.45 for Christchurch. On SUNDAY. 10th JANUARY, special train leaves Christchurch 8.50 a.m. (after connecting with Wellington ferry steamer) for Dunedin.
