ELIMINATION OF OVERHEAD INVOLVED IN FURNISHING MANY BODY TYPES. It is becoming common practice for manufacturers to supply an extensive raneg of body types from which cutoniers may select. It is self-evi-dent that this increases the base cost of each unit. Some manufacturers produce a range of 30 or 40 types, which must increase tremendously the overhead both in actual cost, and in carrying bodies in stock. Dodge Brothers confine their programme to standard types for which there is universal de mand, thereby overcoming this unpro ductive item in manufacturing costs. MAGNUS MOTORS LIMITED. Distributors, Hastings and Wellington.
