AGREEMENT BEFORE THE DAIL.

London, Dee. 9. In the debate in Eireann Dail on the second reading of the Treaty Amendment Bill, Mr Baxton, Farmers’ party, opposing the measure, said the President should have taken the opinion of the Dail in a secret session on a matter of such gravity to Ireland. If they forced the bill they would dismember the country. Mr Blythe, Minister of Finance, denied that the present situation was due to bungling by the executive. — (Reuter).
