RESUMED IN SOUTH AFRICA. PICTURESQUE STAMP ISSUE. (Received 10, 9.15 a.m.) Capetown, Dee. 9. The reintroduction of penny post in South Africa on tho Ist January will he signalised by the now issue of stamps of distinctive South African design. Tho King’s head will disappear from tho more popular denomination, namelv halfpenny, penny, and twoponnv, which will bo replaced respectively hv a representation of van Riebeck’s ship, and drawings of tho Union Buildings at Pretoria.
