Only two more weeks till Christmas, happy, busy weeks. Fuzzled brains result from the effort to cope with the necessary preparations for the world’s great holiday season. Not the least difficulty is the selection of gifts for the ever-widening circle of relatives and friends. Westerman’s, the readymoney drapers, stock the largest and finest assortments of choicest novelties, and their displays provide infinite joy, while their famous low prices make an irresistible appeal. The Salvation Army Band and soldiery will be at Queen’s Square tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 7,30, when a special programme of music and song wil! be rendered. The band has increased considerably in numbers, aud has shown general all-round improvement. Given a fine evening there should bo a large ©rowd present. 11. M. Bonnett.
