COSY DE LUXE. To-night at the Cosy Theatre, Hastings, a very attractive series of pictures will be presented. Holding pride of place is the universal production “The Reckless Age,” starring Reginald Denny, of “The Leather Pushers” faem. It tells the story of the hilarious difficulties of a young nobleman who takes our insurance against a blighted romance. The insurance agent assigned to see that the projected marriage goes through, adds further complications by falling in love with the girl himself. Reginald Denny plays the agent, and is surrounded by a big cast of standard artists. Next comes the Metro picture “Happiness,” with Laurette Taylor in the leading role. There are many thrilling scenes depicted, including a wild drive through the busiest thoroughfare of New York. The latest topical gazettes will be found lull of interest. MUNICIPAL. Another Cecil B. de Mille attraction, “Triumph.” will head the bill at the Hastings Municipal Theatre this evening. The story is woven round the romance of a girl working in a tin factory who becomes a great singer. She is loved by two men, whose fortunes are strangely twisted. One is rich and the other a worker, but by a strange will the former is loft without anything and the latter becomes a rich man. In this big dramatic picture Leatrice Joy, Rod La Roque and Victor Varconi are the featured players. The supporting programme is a good one. and contains a comedy, a travelogue and topical budgets.
