WAIPUKURAU NEWS.
(Own Correspondent). I Alfred Holmes Harding, aged 35, single, a farmer from the Gisborne district, who was visiting relatives at Waipukurau, was found dead in an outhouse this morning with his throat cut. A blood-stained razor was lying alongside the body. Deceased had not been in good health. OBITUARY. Mrs McNutt, aged 64, wife of Mr S. McNutt, farmer, of Wanstead. passea away suddenly at Wanstead. The deceased lady had been suffering from heart complaints for some time, and her death was partly due to news of the serious illness oli a married daughter, Mrs Hudson, of Hastings. Khe was the daughter of one of the original settlers of the Waipukurau district, and had lived at Wanstead for the past forty years. She leaves a husband and grown-up family of four daughters and two sons. The funeral takes place at . Waipukurau this afternoon-
