DUNNED TO DEATH.
TRAGEDY IN POLICE COURT. London, Nov. 5* There was a tragedy in the Swansea Police Court. Elizabeth Scott* a widow, aged 58, sought to have het ' landlady bound over to keep the peace. The widow declared that she was not aii-aid of the landlady in a physical sense, but afraid of pesterings by the landlady, who tried to evict her from her rooms during the past seven years. It would kill her. Hardly had the widow’s son given evidence when she fell and died in a few minutes. —(A. and N.Z.)
