ATHLETICS.
WELLINGTON COLLEGE SPORTS. Wellington, Nov. 6. The Wellington College sports were held to-day on heavy tracks. Among those present were Lord and Lady Jellicoe. The senior championship was won by C. A. Rushbrook, with F. M. Hanam. second, and the junior by J. Wilson, with C. H. Gifford second. W. 0. Bailey, against a stiff wind, did 100 yards m llsec, displaying fine sprinting style. Hanam did 20ft 4jin in the long jump, and against a wind took 17 l-ssec for the 120 yards hurdles. Rushbrook took 56 2-5 sec in the 440 yards 2min 12 2-ssec in the halfmile. Wilson showed versatility by winning both jumps and sprints.
