“THE WASHPOOL” ESTATE. This afternoon, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., in conjunction with Messrs Hoadley, Son and Stewart Ltd., acting under instructions from the trustees in the estate of the late H; J. H. Glazebrook, offered by public auction, at the Hastings Assembly Hall:—_ “The Washpool” estate, consisting of 2,825 acres 2 roods 27 perches, freehold. together with 11 acres 1 rood 39 perches leasehold, 15 years from September 1, 1924, ot 17s per acre rentai. The buildings consist of homestead cottage, shearers’ Quarters. | woolshed, sheepyards, etc. Bidding opened at £25 per acre and the property was sold, at that figure, 'to Mr. Howard M. Glazebrook, Hasti ings, amid applause. I They also offered 92 acres and 37 perches freehold, at Mangateretere; no buildings. Bidding opened at £BO an acre and it was passed in at that amount. And 4 acres 3 voods 19 perches, Sinda estate, Havelock North, half a mile from the village; no buildings. Passed in without an offer. Over a hundred persons were present. -
