AGAINST A. W. BUCKLEY. (Received 11. 9.55 a.m.) Sydney, Sept. 11. Writs have been issued on behalf of Alexander Healy and James Connors, railway employees, claiming £lOOO damages in each case for alleged malicious prosecution, wrongful arrest and false imprisonment against Arthur William Buckley. On August 13th last A. W. Buckley, who was suspended from the position of N.S.W. secretary by the Federal Executive of the Railway Union, had I warrants issued for the arrest of [ Heely, formerly N.S.W. treasurer, Pat--1 torson’, formerly N.S.W. acting-secre-tary, and Connors, formerly executive officer, on charges of conspiring tu defraud the union of certain sums of money. These men surrendered themselves to the police. Buckley was suspended for taking action without ponl suiting the executive.
