GISBORNE v. NAPIER Gisborne, Aug. 1. A tournament between Napier and Gisborne golf players was held to-day in fine weather, though th© conditions on the links in the early morning were not very pleasant owing to heavy rain. Before midday, however, the sun was shining brightly and continued all the afternoon. Poverty Bay won the fourball match by 6J games to one and ahalf 'and the two-ball match ended all square.
