HIGH SCHOOLS' MATCH. DA NN EVI It KE (3) v. NAPIER (39). The Napier High School second team played a match with the Dannevirkc High School firsts on McLean Park, Napier, yesterday, and scored an easy win over their opponents by 39 points to three. The teams were as follows-: Napier.—Full-back. L. Holt; threequarters, Morrissey, C. Holt and Peters; five-eighths. Haughton ami Cooke; half. Moorhead; wing-forward Taylor; front row. Jackson and Hannah: middle row, Marshall. McClutchie and Cooper; back row. Hardy and Dillon. Dannevirke.—Simmons (captain), Allardice, Fredrickson. Brogan, Reciward, Simmers, Wylie, Mills, Clemence, AVatkins, Hickson Bayliss, Dassler. Davidson, McMeekin. In the first spell play wa s fairly even for a time, although the passing by the Napier backs far excelled that of the visitors, Clemence. Mills and Simmons preventing scores by good defensive work. Mills had a good chance of scoring a try for his side, but a knock-on spoilt it.
