A dramatic stage in th© Reparations Conference was reached last night, when the third committee, dealing with deliveries in kind and cash transfers decided at a late hour to sit all night if necessary in order to arrive at an agreement to enable the Conference to summon the Germans to London for the week-end. By two o’clock this morning one section reached an agreement on deliveries whereby the organising committee will be composed of Allies and Germans equally, with a neutral arbitration in case of a disagreement* The other section discussed transfers till two-thirty, when they adjourned. having reached a partial agreement on the principle that arbitration be conceded in limited cases. An official communique states that the Reparations Commission henceforth will officially sit in London to deal with questions arising out of the Dawes report.
