MOTOR SERVICES. Mails for places in the North Island will for the present close at 7 a.m. daily. LETTERS ONLY will be despatched. Parcels containing PERISHABLE GOODS, MEDICINES and FOODSTUFFS will he accepted and despatched first opportunity. Mails for the South Island will be despatched as usual, but for the present LETTERS ONLY will be despatched daily for places beyond Christchurch. J. THORNE. Acting-Postmaster, Hastings.
