WIRELESS DIRECTION FINDING STATIONS. (Received 29, 12.5 p.m.) London, April 28. The Post Office is estbalishing a girdle of direction finding wireless stations in Britain to assist mariners, partcularly in the Channel and the North Sea during fogs. Each station will be in the charge of a skilled navigator who. on receiving a wireless message from any vessel, will be able to give the vessel’s exact position and issue a warning when he is near the coast or dangerous rocks, and alse vi e warning of the danger of a collis:on when receiving messages from two neighbouring vessels unaware oi each other’s ( presen'e. —(“Sydney Suu” cable).
