N .Z. AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION.
ADMINISTRATION ADVERSELY CRITICISED. AUCKLAND’S PROPOSALS. Auckland, Dec. 6. The Auckland Centre has circulated among North Island swimming centres proposals for direct and better representation of centres to secure greater concord and administrative benefits, and by which championship turns would come oftener and more visits between entres would become practicable. The circular concludes: “The present financial position show that the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association lacked administrative ability. Losses have been made bn practically every visit due to badly-arranged itinerary. The council, it is stated, failed lamentably when it allowed the Government subsidy to he out down instead of organising a national swimmers’ protest and propaganda to demand reconsideration.”
