The old saying “it is better to lie sure than sorry” was well illustrated in the case of a motorist who travelled through to Wellington last week. He St no farther than Paki Paki when ran into blinding rain which covered the windscreen with an impenetrable mist. all but the portion just in front of the driver’s seat. This was Icpt perfectlv clear, for the motorist had taken the precaution to call in at the **Autos” before leaving and they fitted an automatic wind-screen wiper. He declared it the most useful accessory he had ever bought and wonderful value.*
