AMALGAMATION OF BUSINESS. (Received 7,11.10 a.m.) Sydney, Morch 7. An agrgeement has been reached by which the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia Limited is taking over the business of the Equit-, able Life Assurance Society of the United States, including its properties. The amount involved totals £1,850,000, of which the price allowed? for the head offices in Sydney and Melbourne exceeds half a million.—(A. and N.Z.)
