Tauranga Seat
THE LIBERAL NOMINATION. ACCEPTED BY SIR JOSEPH WARD. (Par Press Association.) Auckland, March 6. Sir Joseph Ward announced this morning his decision to stand for Tauranga Replying to the Liberal deputation at To Aroha last night, Sir Joseph Ward said he appreciated the unanimity of the representations made. Ho would not give a definite decision until Tuesday. If he were a candidate he would do his very best to win the Tauranga scat. He felt much improved in health and fit for a stiff Campaign. If ho secured loyal support a» was , promised had very little doubt that the seat the seat would be once again represented by a Liberal. Before deciding to contest the seat, Sir Joseph Ward communicated with his business interests in the South Island. He has left for Auckland.
Strong committees are being formed in this part of th<? electorate by the Liberal Party.
