WAIPUKURAU.
(Own Correspondent.) The residents who have been holiday making are now returning. The death occurred at the Sana torium on Thursday of Mr. H. Keltic, a civilan patient from Whakatane. Deceased was single and 42 years of age. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon. from the Alasonic Hall, and there was a good representation of members of Bedford Lodge. The Rev. R. F. Fish conducted the burial service and Hie Masonic rites were accorded. The Waipukurau Rifle Club held tile first round of the competition for Mr. J. W. Harding’s silver cup on Saturday. A - southerly wind and changeable light militated against good shooting. rhe results were as follows:—
