28.65 INCHES FOR 1922. Mr. A. H. Noble-Campbell, of Maraekakaho Station, has supplied us with the following figures on the rainfall in Hawke’s Bay for the year 1922:— Total rainfall for the yqar, 28.65 in. Number of days with rain for the year, 164 days. Wettest month—January (6.80) in 13 days. Driest month—April (.19 in 6 days). Heaviest rainfall in one day, 11th January. 1.93. Messrs Thos. Horton Limited’s observations for the month of December, 1922, were:— Coldest day, 2nd, 66 degrees. Warmest day, 14th, 93 deg. Coldest night, 5, 33 deg. Warmest night, 28lh, 62 deg.
