ALLEGED FORTUNE TELLING. Wellington, Jan. 6. The charge of fortune telling against the Rev. Reuben Webb was dismissed. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. said defendant had gone on the border line and would probably have gone further if he had not been warned by the female medium calling out “Handcuffs” while the constables were interviewing him. He warned defendant that if caught fortune telling he would be sent to gaol.
