(Received 7, 10.30 a.m.) o Sydney, Dec. 7. lhe Supreme Court has commenced the hearing of the claim by Dr Ihompson against the' New‘ South Wales branch of the British Medical Association for £5OOO damages, on the ground of alleged defamation. The Proceedings are a sequel to Thompson’s expulsion from membership of the association, which followed his connection with the case of Airs Farr. —(A. and N.Z.)
