A CORRECTION.

(To the Editor.) Sir,—ln your report of the annual meeting of the Heretaunga Dairy Co. you state that Mr. A. Masters pointed out that the increase in the < hairman’s honorarium was sanctioned by the shareholders, and that nothing could have been done without the shareholders’ consent. I did not make such a statement. What I said was that in my opinion such an action should not have been taken without the consent of the shareholders, and further that if the directors had the power of remunerating themselves such a privilege was open to abuse.—l am, etc., A. MASTERS. Hastings, 27/9/22.
