OVERTHROW OF CAPITALISM.
THE PARADOXICAL LENIN. Moscow, Sept. 25. Lenin’s first pronouncement since his illness is contained in a letter to the all-Russian congress of trades unions, stating: “The refusal of capitalist countries to grant credits to Russia impedes tho revival of industry. Russia cannot assent to the restoration of private property. The long and arduous process of revival will require an enormous expenditure of energy, but the thought that capitalism is overthrown will lend strength to the working classes*” —(A. and N.Z.)
