LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. 1 Wanganui. September 22. The first round of the Ladies’ Golf Championship was played this morping in pertect weather. Miss McClure (Wellington) beat Mrs Collinson (l*almerston North). 4 and 2; Miss \ -heson (Nelson) beat Mrs. Gardener (Auckland). 8 and 6; Miss McCarthy (Dunedin) beat Miss Dixon (Christchurch), 7 and 6. The second round will be played tomorrow.
