NAPIER POLICE COURT.
(Before Mr R. W. Dyer, S.M.) At the court to-day, Ernest Edward Storr, charged with procuring liquor while prohibited was convicted and discharged. Lena Maymond charged with, at Hastings, being married, did go through the form of marriage with one Benjaminc Henry Charles Bright. Accused was remanded till Sept. 29, bail being fixed in self £5O with two sureties of £25 or one of £5O. Benjamine Henry Charles Bright, charged with going through the form of marriage with Lena Maymond knowing that the said was already married, was remanded till the same date, bail, accused in self £lOO and two surties of £5O. Peter Panapu, of Ruahapia road, Hastings, native, filed a petition in bankruptcy at the Napiel Courthouse yesterday.
