ATTEMPTED INCENDIARISM.
Auckland, Sept. 21*. A fire was discovered under the ‘Avondale Public School at right o’clock On Wednesday evening, and was promptI Ty extinguished by the fire brigade. An ‘lnspection showed that a pile of inuammable material had been placed underneath the flooring and fired. One joist and a number of floor boards were charred.
