NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW, 1922.
The Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association will hold their twentieth National Dairy Show on June 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd, on their Show grounds, Cuba street, Palmerston North. This exhibition is now so well known that it is merely necessary to note the dates, our leaders are conversant with the chief attractions of this event. This year the ring events will include four Rugby mtachcs and one Soccer football match. The popular Dog Trial will be on the last morning of the show, and is this year a championship event. This year in addition to the classes for Public Schools’ garden there will be a competition held for the members of the Boys’ and Girls’ Agricultural Clubs, and we hope this will foster the keen spirit of competition among the various school pupils. The apple, honey, butter and cheese campionships are all decided at this Show and there are various classes for roots, vegetable, photography, needlework and home industries with substantial prizes attached to each division. Any information and prize lists may be obtained from the secretary, Box 85, Palinerston North. ,
