H.B. CHILDREN'S HOME.

AN APPEAL. Another year has passed away, and again the trustees of the Hawke’s Bay Children’s Home feel compelled to appeal to the residents of Hawke’s Bay for funds to continue their work. The need is urgent. There are nearly 80 boys and girls in the home, dependent upon the generosity of the public for their support. Sad to say. many children are left without a homo, hence arises the need for an institution such as the above, where the little ones are well cared for under the influence of a good matron. The trustees make make this appeal on behalf of our little brothers and sisters. We cannot give them the love and attention we would demote to our own, but we can show our sympathy by giving to those who need ou r help. Th© trustees are most grateful for all subscriptions received during the past, and feel confident that the support towards this deserving work will be continued. Contributions sent to any of the trustees, or J. AV. Pallot, secretary, Box 130, Napier, will be fratefully acknowledged.
