PETANE STOCK SALE. Th© usual monthly sale was held at Petano yesterday, when a small yarding of both sheep and cattl© was offered to a small attendance of buyers. Bidding was not very brisk, prices suffering in consequence. Prices were as follow:-—Fat wethers (shorn) 11/-, 6-th wethers (woolly) 13/-. m.s. hoggets 11/-, empty heifers (dairy) £3 7/-. Aples and pears have a keen demand. Asparagus, now potatoes and green peas are realising good prices.
