Indications are that tne Government will propose legislation as the best means 01 linding a way out ot tlio didicuiaes with which the present position is beset. . It is probable that some new bills will be introduced by GovernorGeneral s message in the House this afternoon, lhe consolidation of the fthop and Oilice's Act and amendments is expected. Anerwarus members of tho House wid have an opportunity of discussing Mr. Massey s statement ol work at the imperial Conference. if this debate is taken Mr. Massey may take the opportunity in replying of saying some Liling on the snipping, wool, anu other New Zealand questions winch he investigated in England. , it is improbable that bills will receive consideration to-day, but if they uo those at the head or the oraerpaper are Local Bodies Loans, and Mortgages and Deposits Extension Bill.
