WEDDING.

PILCHER—DENNISON. A quiet but very pretty little wedding was celebrated in St. Matthew's Church on Saturday morning last, when the Rev. Hall united in matrimony Gertrude, third daughter of Mr. Dennison, of Dannevirke, with Douglas, fifth son of Mr. and Mrs. Pilcher, of Mangateretero. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Percy Pilcher, was charmingly attired in a navy blue costume. with smart fox furs and hat to match. She was attended as bridesmaid by Miss Rita Pilchtr, who looked dainty in a saxe blue costume with hat to match. Mr. Adan Pilcher acted as best man. At the conclusion of the service the young couple received the hearty congratulations and sincere wishes of their many friends for their future happiness, and later and Nirs. Doug. Pilcher proceeded South, where the honeymoon is to be spent.
