Silver.—3s 2d per ounce.—(A. and N.Z.) WAIPUKURAU STOCK SALE. At the Waipukurau sale yesterday there was a small yarding of both sheep and cattle. Dairy cows sold at market rates, but the remainder of sheep and cattle penned, not reaching vendors’ reserves, were practically all passed in under the hammer. SYDNEY WOOL MARKET. Sydney, Aug. 16.
