Maiden.—Sunbath 1, Haurangi 2, Kuia 3. Scratched: Potomea and Moonshiner. Won by half a length. Time, 1.15. President’s Handicap.—Murihiku 1, Rouen 2, Canyon 3. All started. Won by a length. WAIPAWA CLUB’S ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. The Waipawa Tennis Tournament, which has extended over five days, was concluded on Monday. The weather again was extremely warm but was tempered by a breeze as the day wore on. In the final games a fine exhibition of tennis was manifested which evoked rounds of applause.
