PREHISTORIC WOMAN.
SLENDER WAISTLINE. London, Oct. 15. The Paris correspondent of the ‘‘Times” states that prehistoric excavations in the Ain district brought to light the portrait of a woman, which is unlike H. G. Wells’s conception of prehistoric woman. The picture shows a slender, graceful waistline with rounded hips, recalling early specimens of Greek art.
