A, locill branch of the Returned' Soldiers’ Association has been established in'Takapau, Mr. J. B. Paton being the chairman and Mr.* A. H. Saunders hon. secretary. It has been felt that a local branch will be* able to dd something to advance the interests of men settled in the district.
; The following visiting dates have beep fixed for Takapau ladies to visit the Pukeora Sanatorium for the year: June Itith, August 18th, and .October 19th., the visiting day being Wednesday. ... . , ~
