LONDONO WOOL SALES. (Beeeived 22, 10.15 a.mt) London, March 19. At the wol sales recent rates for all sorts were fully maintained. The following prices were realised for the fleece portions of the clin named :—T.B.S. ,top) 38id.~(A. and N-Z. 1 HASTINGS SATURDAY MARKET. t Beard, Bullen and Co. report as follows re their Saturday market sale. We offered full pens of poultry and pigs and a fair yarding of dairy stock on Saturday last, the following prices being obtained Good table fowls made up to 9s. others up to 7s lOd. small sorts and mo-ilters 5s 6d to 6s; ducks 5s 6d to 8s lOd, turkeys 30s, all at per pair; W.L. cockerels Is to 3s. Pigs were in fair demand as follows:. 6 weaners at 18s 6d, 7 at 14s, 3 at 18s. 1 porker 61s. weaners 15s, 2 at 2°s. 2 at 265. 2 at 19s, 1 at 16s 6d. 1 at 18s. 3 porkers at 595. Dairy stock: Holstein heifer at drop £B, empty aged cow £2 2s 6d, Shorthorn cow in profit £l2. Jersey cow in profit £6. Holstein-Jersey cow in profit £l4 ss. Bay mare £5 ss. bay filly £7 10s. Sheep dogs £1 2s 6d, £3, £4, £9 15s. Fruit and Produce: Apples made up to ss. others Is t<» 2s. rears 2s, peaches 3s to"-5s: tomatoes 2s to 6s, all per half-case. We sold a large quantity harness, tools, wire netting and outsid? sundries, 1 waggonette for £l2 ss, 1 gig £l2 10s.
