SAMOA'S LABOUR.
QUESTIONS IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. (iieceived K>. 16.20 a.m.) London, March 9. In the House, of Commons, Mr. James Brown asked “is indentured labour being used for the development of Samoa." Colonel Amery replied : “Yes. Hie New Zealand Government found the system operating and it is understood in exercise of their discretion they are continuing it." Heplying to Mr. Ormsby Gore. Colonel Amery said as far ns he knew China, was the main source of indentured labour ill Samoa, under German regime and the New Zealand Government was certainly emit inning a certain number of Chinese indentured labourers. -(lmperial News Service.)
