KAID MACLEAN DEAD.
London, Feb. 5. A cable announces _ the death nt Tangier of Genoral Sir Harry MacGeneral Sir Harrv Aubrey de Maclean, K.C.M.G.. was borni June, 1843, son of Andrew Maclean (of the Macleans of Dremnin). Formerly of the 69th Foot, he became Instructor in the Moorish army under the late Sultan, and accompanied him in his expeditions. He was then a colonel of the Sultan’s body guard. He was captured by Raisuli, July, 1907, while on a mission from the Sultan, ana held prisoner several months. Later he was decorated for services rendered to the British Government.)
