SIB lAN HAMILTON’S APPEAL. RAISES MANY PROTESTS. London, Feb. 3Sir lan Hamilton’s letter has produced a crop of protests. “Lex writes, charging Sir lan Hamilton with gross contempt of court, pointing out that the Allies would not have charged Von Sanders, if there wasn’t strong evidence justifying a trial. An English captain from Palestine writes that Von. Sanders was responsible for the greater par’ of the atrocities at Armenia and Syria, where he ruthlessly meteu out death.—(A. and N.Z.)
