(Own Correspondent.) At the Police Court to-day, Tiios.l Johns Dwver and Joseph Hannan were brought before J ?‘l n Win love and J- B- McCormick, J sP.. to answer for their behaviour. at Wanstead. Dwyer alias Lyjnch and Hannan *ere both convicted and discharged havig been .'" unrt drunk in a public place. Un a charge of using obscene language, haviour, both men were sentenced to a month’s hard labour. Un a further charge of using observe language. Dwyer was convicted, the decree ot a month’s hard labour to be concur , rent with the former penalty. . ■ Both men were taken to Napier by Constable Butler to-day.
