PARIS SUBURBS UNDER WATER. Paris, Jan. 2. The Seine has risen nineteen’ inches in forty-eight hours, the lower part of the city at Bercy and Auteuil being submerged. Pumps are working everywhere and the situation in the suburbs is serious.—(A. and N.Z.)
