MABDI GRAS TOURNAMfcNTSection play in the New Year Mardi Gras Tournament concluded yesterday, leaving Wrightson and Smith (Port Ahuriri), Bungay (Waipukurau) y. Turner (Napier) to play off. The only rink to go right through without a loss was Bungay (Waipukurau). SEMI FINALS. The semi finals were plaved this morning , Turner meeting Bungay and Smith meeting Wrightson. Keen interest was taken in the game by a large number of enthusiasts. Both were runaway games, Bungay going down to Turner, by 24 to .14, and Wrightson going down to Smith, by 30 to 11.
