A stop-work meeting of bootmak.ng operatives, owing to their dissatist.Ktion with the recent Arhitration award, resolved that the meeting endorses the resolution passed by the unton calling upon the Federation to conduct a ballot otmembers on the questton of cancelling registration und'r the Industrial Ciwihatim and Arbitration Act. and that three representatives be elected with a view of seeking an increase in wages, and that if they are unable to secure an increase, the executive I*' empowered to call another mass meet tug.
