A very large number, Including many from the adjacent townships, were present al St. ’Patrick’s social held in the Municipal Theatre, on Wednesday, and the residents and visitors were rewarded by an excellent programme of 'musical items. The Waipawa Orchestra opened the proceedings by a selection of popular items. The following contributed to tlie vocal items Lady Muriel fleck, Mrs. R. Spring, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Higgins, C.
