BRITISH LIGHT FORCES

ATTACKED BY GERMAN AIRCRAFT. (Received 13, 1.20 p.m.) London, Aug. 12. The Admiralty :— Our light forces and aircraft reconnoitred west of the Frisian coast and were heavily attacked by German aircraft. Six of our motor boats failed to return. Apart from this we suffered neither damage nor casualties. A German airship was brought down. —(A. and N.Z.)
